SCMP Online Module 3 - Logistics and Transportation - Spring 2019

This module explores the vital role that logistics plays in strategic supply chain management and its links to procurement. You will develop an understanding of the primary logistics activities of transportation, warehousing and inventory management. The Module includes a consideration of a variety of analytical and technological tools such as activity-based costing, total cost of ownership and warehouse management systems. Issues in transportation from modal choices to industry regulations are discussed as is logistics outsourcing through 3PLs and 4PLs. The Module will prepare you to chart a customized logistics strategy for your organization and make strategic logistics decisions, based on the most current concepts and transportation options.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

There will be an administration fee of $235 plus tax for cancellations/withdrawal/transfer requests received in writing before week 2 of the course for refund; thereafter, no refund will be available. Transfer request to a future online module offering is permissible only if received in writing prior to week 3 of the course. 

 

Credits to be used for future offerings are valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment and will expire if not used in that time frame. Please contact SCMAO for details regarding eligibility to transfer.


If you would like to withdraw from a module please send an e-mail to the SCMP Administrator at scmponline@scmao.ca and copy your Coach. You are required to inform SCMAO of your intent as soon as possible. Clearly state your intention to withdraw and provide authorization for us to proceed. It is highly advisable that you review your eligibility for a refund or transfer credit under the Payment & Cancellation Policy.
