SCMP Online Module 7 - Supply Chain Management for the Public Sector - Winter 2019

The unique characteristics of procurement in the public sector are explored in this Module. The Module examines a variety of public sector settings, including the federal government, provincial and municipal governments, as well as health care and education sectors. You will learn how to undertake competitive bidding in a public sector environment and evaluate alternatives such as sole sourcing and negotiation. The Module will explain the different forms of purchasing co-operatives and consortias. Ethical issues in public sector procurement are also examined. At the end of this Module, you will be able to understand the special supply chain challenges and opportunities in the public sector and make recommendations for performance improvement.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

You are eligible for a refund minus an administration fee of $150.00 plus tax for cancellation/withdrawal requests received in writing before week 2; thereafter, no refund will be available. Transfer request to a future online module offering is permissible only if received in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation prior to week 3. Credits to be used for future offerings are valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment and will expire if not used in that time frame. You are required to inform SCMAO of your intent as soon as possible. Clearly state your intention to withdraw and provide authorization for us to proceed.
