Measuring Procurement Value and Performance: A Price Index Model

Date:   May 30, 2018 - May 30, 2018
Time:   12:00 PM (EDT)

Acknowledged by McMaster University in a national competition for a most innovative procurement analysis tool, the Price Index Model — created by instructor Larry Berglund — is a valuable assessment tool used by leading organizations.

Using the Price Index Model is one of the few ways you can track price changes objectively against other cost drivers and indices over multiple time periods.

This tool provides insights on sourcing strategies and quantifies the effectiveness of procurement to ensure competitiveness.

Larry will demonstrate how the Price Index Model:

1.     Validates how you contribute value to your organization;

2.     Measures and tracks price changes over time with changing volumes; and

3.     Benchmarks budgets against forecasted cost changes.

The webinar will use examples and walk participants through a step-by-step process. It is easy to set up and manage an on ongoing basis.

All participants will receive a copy of an article with case studies using the price index model.
