Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - potential applications for SCM

Date:   Mar 28, 2018 - Mar 28, 2018
Time:   12:00 PM (EDT)

About the webinar:

When you see “robot” in the title, you tend to think of the physical machines that have been used in auto-manufacture for years. And although robots are certainly part of the future supply chain, the type of automation explored in this webinar is more accurately described as “software robots.” These machines enable the automation of repetitive, mundane tasks that once belonged to humans, freeing up valuable time for more strategic, problem solving tasks.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is set to change the business landscape forever, including your day to day role as a supply chain manager. This webinar will explore RPA, when and where it was developed, and how it continues to evolve. It will also explore how RPA works, why organizations will be implementing enmasse in upcoming years, its impacts on the labour force, and more.
